It took me soooo long to finally come up with a layout I liked, but it's done. This is for a dear friend who put her back out over a week ago and is still on morphine in the hospital waiting to see if she will need surgery. I used zindorf's technique of coloring the main image and then using my versapen to go over and clear emboss, then I sponged on the bg. My white gel pen is drying so it's hard to get good dots and flow, but I've ordered another one since Markie's Mom has given us so much inspiration to pull them out and use them more often. I think Kittie 747 was the first person I saw to make little signs and the idea seemed to fit. I used a pencil over sahara sand to give them a weathered wood look. And...I am so enjoying playing with these images that Sarah.Jane sent to me since I missed out on this fun set.
