Here is my attempt at the Faux Cloisonne' technique. It sounds so easy and in a sense it is. The hard part for me though was finding the perfect magazine ad! I sacrificed my sacred Garden Gate magazine. Big deal - one page right? Nope, three pages later I finally decided this is as good as it's going to get. You know how we usually say that the card looks better in real life? Well, this one the picture makes it look much much better! I had problems with the flower and leaves having too much yellow. So I stamped again on a more green section and layered new leaves! Yikes. And would someone please teach me how to tie a proper bow!!

Gasp, not the Garden Gate Magazine. I couldn't do that I thought about it, but went for the flower catalogs instead. Well, maybe I should have used mine, your card is simply beautiful...love it...tfs

What a masterpiece! when can I come over and play stamps? ASAP I'm hoping: By far, this is probably one of the most gorgeous cards I've seen ~ it's stellar by all standards. Absoutely outstanding!!!! My compliments. (Sorry to hear about all the pages you used, but, oh, the end result was so worth it).

Absolutely beautiful!!!!! The position of the flower with the striation of the mag bg, make it look like beams of light through stained glass!!!!! Fabulously done and love the layout and the ribbon detailing!!!!! Great work!!!!
