Thanks everyone! I'm glad you enjoyed the card. Here's how I did it:
- cut a piece of white tissue paper a little larger than your c/s
- brayer the tissue using a spectrum (kaleidacolor) pad
- mist the c/s with water
- crumple the tissue paper then open back up
- lay the tissue paper over the cardstock, inked side down
- mist the tissue paper, then press against c/s (this can result in inky fingers - you may want to wear gloves)
- remove tissue paper and VOILA! a surprise every time
- paper will be slightly damp, so let dry then use as desired
This is a fun technique and I learned through the Technique Junkies Newsletter (http://www.patstamps.com/). It's a great resource for new ideas and when you subscribe you not only get the instructions in the newsletter, but you also get access to step-by-step photo instructions on the website (not to mention all the artwork samples!). I'm a visual person, so that really helps me alot. Pat does a fabulous job and I love, love, love that newsletter! Have fun everyone and holler if you still have questions.
