In looking at Holly's ( our featured stamper for this week) gallery, I chose a beautiful Thomas Kincade card. In trying to use my own Kincade lighthouse image (very detailed, but indistinct) I ended up with a very hazy image, so I decided to stamp over it with a Cornish Heritage Farm lighthouse image, and ended up with a misty lavender bg. The only patterned paper I had that was a decent match, had leaves on it, but by cutting judiciously, I was able to get pieces that had a semblance of waves. The image was mounted on dimensional. The anchor was inked with versamark and embossed with silver. I layered two anchor die cuts together to achieve enough thickness to hold the easel open. The large seagull was also layered. I added three smaller seagulls on the main panel and a scripture verse from Psalm 119:105 This is for three challenges, The alphabet challenge for the letter 'L', the S2S16 challenge for this week, to make an easel card, and the Bible Verse challenge.

Beautiful, Ina! Love the image, the blue and the oh, and the doves and the anchor, everything about it! This was a great way to combine the challenges.
Oh, my....This is absolutely gorgeous! I love your verse and how you have showcased it with the Lighthouse image. The background behind the lighthouse image on the label is stunning. The dies such a perfect touch. Thank you for participating in our Bible Verse Challenge. :-) LM

Your effort was so worth it....Your bg paper is superb. If I did not read your description I would have not known it was leaves at all in the bg, I thought they were waves...worked out well. Love the seagulls around the lighthouse, just like they are flying off the pages, can here them now...LOVE it...TFs..:0)
