I did this card for the, IC554-Petals, challenge. I love roses, I saw a beautiful bouquet of roses on the Petals link. I can never add the link, I'm not sure how to do it. I'll try. I cut my back panel out of purple cs, Next, I cut a white panel and sponged it with, Kaleidacolor-berry blaze ink. Now, I stenciled circles, in the same ink, only heavier on the ink. I put this aside, and cut my scalloped circle, out of pink cs, and put it through the cutlebug, in my cork ef. Now, I cut my smaller circle with the Darice- circle die, I sponged it lightly with the same berry blaze ink. Now I stamped my rose image, on the smaller circle, and colored it with watercolor pencils. I had left over sponged cs, so I sponged it a little heavier with the same ink, and punched one inch circles. Now I assembled my card starting with the purple back panel, next , the white sponged and stenciled panel. Now, I popped the pink scalloped circle onto the card, and glued the rose image circle onto the card. To complete my card, I popped the one inch circles onto my card, and added lavender ribbon and a lavender bow. Thanks for the fun challenge, and thanks for looking.

I love the bright, bold purple-y pink! Nicely done, and a real eye-catcher!

It's amazing what a stencil can do a card. When you used that and added some really colors, the end result is a lovely card in design and technique. Love all those colors together. Very pretty, Marg.
