I just got my ZIG markers and was so eager to try this white-embossed watercolor look. I used my MISTI to position the stamps, stamped in Versamark, then rotated the card to get a symmetrical image in the opposite corner. After embossing, I grabbed a large brush and laid down a light blue wash with my watercolor set. I used a slightly darker blue marker to give shadow in certain parts and a lighter blue marker to blend it out to the rest of the watercolor. I have some practice to do, but for a first try, I thought it wasn't too bad. Then I used the markers and water brush to do the leaves and flowers.
Happy Birthday is definitely one of my most used sentiments, and I turn to this stamp a lot because it's a great size.

I think you're well on your way to becoming a master at watercoloring, Leah. Such a beautiful image. Love your water wash and delicate coloring on your flowers/leaves. Striking creation.
