I am your hostess this week and I have chosen: pacific point, wild wasabi, soft sky, crumb cake and for dessert: "at the beach".
I masked off my vertical section and then used more torn masks to sponge the sand, water, moon, etc. To make the reflection of the moon I sponged some white pigment ink across the water. I had never tried that before and I love how it worked! Added more texture to the rest of the water by dabbing more white pigment on with a stiff bristle brush. The rest is pretty clear - used some marker to color a bit on the birds.

Gasp! This is absolutely gorgeous! Your water looks so real I almost expect to see it moving. I may give this a try and see how I do. This truly is exquisite! ~Karen.

Love the masked scene, with the beautiful moonlit water (nice effect with both the reflection of the moon and the sparkles in the water). Equally, your beach scene is fabulous. Wonderful card, Maura!

This is such a gorgeous scene Maura! I love the detail to your foreground and your moonlit water is a stunning effect. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week, Jan M :-)
