I cannot tell a lie. I was looking through the CC gallery when I spotted this card by Maura (Beesmom). I have made three cards for my niece...not of which I liked. I absolutely fell in love with Maura's card and while mine comes nowhere near, it certainly was inspired by her awesome work of beauty. Thanks, Maura. My June cards are now DONE!!!
I must apologize for not commenting the past two challenges. I try very hard to comment, however, my cousin ended up going from a doctor's appt. to having a pacemaker installed and then she coded and was out of it for two days. My time has been spent at the hospital with her. She is now home and doing fairly well. What a scare. I have also been in a stamping funk and hope that spell is now broken. Thanks for your understanding.

I applaud your talent to take Maura's card and create your own. Yes, yours is different but that's the beauty of stamping. I think the bg you've created is spectacular. Love your embossed images and BF for the CAS challenge. Just beautiful.

Vicky, I know Maura will feel so honored that you were inspired by her card. Hers is beautiful, but yours is equally so. Love the background colors and the sparkly butterfly. So glad your cousin is doing better. How scary!

This is just lovely Vicky. I agree that Maura will feel honored that you were inspired by one of her cards. I love the soft background of your card and the pretty flowers and butterfly! Hang in there.

I'm so happy your cousin is through the trauma and you managed to feel able to make a card today. I'm sure Maura will be thrilled she inspired you today - and you were able to have a little 'Vicky' time. You created a beautiful card - the colours are so soft - a delight. Take care of you too x
