Am including this in my "2016 Send a Smile" challenge though it is not destined for residents at the LTC facility where my step-dad lives. Next Sunday starts Nurse Appreciation week. Since I'm planning to send another 15 cards into them this week, it seemed only right to send a smile to the nursing staff as well because the really good ones truly are some kind of wonderful. In my opinion, all the nurses who care for my step dad fall into that category.
Die cut 2 cows from PTI cardstock. Stamped the cow onto one and colored with Copic markers.
E50, E31, R01, R02, BG10 (part of eye but, as I learned the hard way - you need a bit more color if using the glossy accents or else it really doesn't show through)
Used glossy accents to adhere the 2 layers for some dimension.
Stamped my sentiment on a 3 1/8" square panel and colored in the word WONDERFUL with R01 and R02.
Adhered my cow using glossy accents.
Used a Copic multi-liner to enhance the cow's eyeballs and add in some lashes (Thanks to the inspiration of Michele Boyer!) Applied glossy accents on the eyes and called it done.
TFL!

I've worked at a LTC facility so I can tell you nurses in tsenior communities are incredible. They have a heavy burden to carry on their shoulders. They will love what you've crafted to thank them for their services. This is just delightful and sweet.
