This is for our very own Cheryl (CherylQuilts) who has been having health problems. She is one of the sweetest members here on SCS. Here's a "Hello" and wishing her all the best.
I paper pieced the dress in two different patterns. The bg is stamped with various sewing motifs including a scissors, thimble, scrap of fabric, etc. Since this is a sewing card I had to do some actual sewing on it...so I zigzagged around the edge.

So you sew too? You're a woman of many talents, Polly. How fun for you to have all those sewing 'motifs' to play with today. Love the paper pieced full skirt on your charming lady. I have to think Cheryl will love this as much as I do.

Polly, she will LOVE this! How neat that you added stitches to your card, so perfect for Cheryl! Love the soft colors! Pink and black and white polka dots work so well together. Your card is such a cheerful one, and one that will make her smile!

Love your card Polly, and thanks for the inspiration. You reminded me of a couple of stamps and folders I have. Cheryl will be delighted with all your fun details.

Polly, you saved the day. You brought a sewing machine to help that quilt remain intact. Good for you. Your card is precious and I'm confident Ms. Cheryl will enjoy and appreciate it.
