The CreativeCrew challenge was to use color me irresistible dsp on a winter birthday card. I loved embossing and sponging on this designer paper--it's a little dark, but our weather is a little dark in winter. Because the dsp has a shine to it, the woodland trees worked nicely and have a nice shine to them.
On the branch and bird, I first inked up the stamp in versamark then the color so I could emboss with classic inks. Not sure if this has a name, but I like doing it.
Thanks for looking. Susie

This is beautifully done! The woodgrain in the bg is nicely set by the trees in the foreground. Your shading of the trees is just right and the bird and nesting materials sets it all off. Mahalo for sharing!!

Your card has so much "wow" factor to it! The sponging, embossing and fussy cutting are all gorgeous. I first learned about heat embossing with Versamark and Classic inks from Michelle Zindorf - it really widens ones options. Lovely, lovely card, thanks for sharing!!
