Maura is our hostess this week, and she has given us some soft, restful colors: Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake and Mossy Meadow. The dessert option is to use Designer Series paper.
I learned the neatest tip recently from Patty Bennett, via Pinterest. Take a piece of DS paper, 4" x 5-1/4". Cut off 2" from the bottom and flip it over. There's the base of your card, all ready to decorate. I love this idea!
No sooner did I make a sympathy card a few weeks ago, than I learned that a friend's mother and her husband's father passed away within 5 days of each other. So time for a new sympathy card to keep my supply at a reasonable level.
I thought the colors in this week's challenge were perfect for a sympathy card, soft and restful. And flowers always seems appropriate for a sympathy card.
Please play along with us this week, and thanks for stopping by!

I agree that these colors are perfect for a sympathy card, and yours is lovely, Barbara! Beautiful flowers and the soft ribbon is such a great embellishment.

I think Maura's colors today were wonderful. You took that palette and let your creativity go wild. You card is delightful in color and design. It's pretty special, actually.

Barbara, your card is so soft and pretty - perfect for a sympathy card. It is so hard for me to make these cards and I don't have any already made up. Sometimes I leave the sentiment off of some. It's so nice to get a hand made card.
