I think this is the first time that I used fabric on my projects. Usually I make the checkered flag 'dp' with a black marker and a ruler on white cs, but it's very time consuming and my stamping time is so limited these days. I was going to leave out the checkered flag this time, but then I remembered that I had some left over fabric sitting in a closet upstairs. It was fun to use fabric along with the usual paper. I glued white cs onto a recycled frosting can, and then glued the fabric and metallic red over it.
Thanks for the fun challenge DebbieDee, and thank you all for looking!

I could see the checks in the thumbnail and I just knew it must be cars themed. I remember once you mentioned that Clay loves cars. What a neat idea, Mrs. Darla Ryan. I hope you're well and your summer has been a fun one. Hugs

Oh Darla this is so cute. Now I am going to be scouring the fabric stores for some of that checkered fabric. My friends little DGS loves car anything. I love altering 3D items. I am known to buy cheese for the box! What a great gift you made. I just love it!
