Thanks so much to all of the challenge hostesses for all of the fun challenges this week. I made this box for my brother's wedding. I covered a hat box with designer paper, then glued the top of the box to the bottom. The plum flowers are made with a Sizzix flower die. After running the die through the cuttlebug, I spritzed the flowers with water, crumpled them up, and seperated them into two layers. On the 'inside' of the layer, I stamped the petals with one of the stamps from the Build a Blossom set with pale plum and then I ink distressed with a sponge and plum ink. The hearts and birds were punched out and then embossed with a cb embossing folder. I added the pleated ribbon on the bottom, and used a white cord trim dyed to match with a pale plum reinker.
Thanks for looking!
