I love Karen's "On the Fly..." snowman card - it was one of my favorite cards made during the Christmas card season. I love that she made it quick out of something she had hoarded. Since Karen is Queen for the Week, I decided to case this cute card -you can see it here:
I have been hoarding this old calendar full of copies of paintings done by Harold T. Holden. I figured that one day I would make some cards with them so here is the first one.
The only thing I did was cut out the picture and stamp it with a sentiment from All Year Cheer I from SU! - so it is my case on the fly...
Congrats Karen my fun and sweet Punchie Friend and fellow snowpeople lover! You have encouraged me so much with all your sweet comments. I know your rein will be terror free for us, but I am worried about you with some of the past queens who refuse to give up the past! Watch out for listening devises and strange packages.....Hugz!

How fun that you pulled this image out of your hoard of calendar pages... and I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that! Love your snow pony on the fly card! Perfect sentiment too!

At first, I thought you definitely colored this image but your narrative set the record straight!. I'm so glad you hung on to Mr. Holden's calendar scene. It sure does make for one neat card, Nancy. Ya Hoo!

"On the fly"... how true was that. I really did make 10 cards in 20 min b/c I forgot something we were doing that night for Bible study. Too bad I used all that sweet snowman paper! I LOVE what you did w/ this gorgeous cowboy image! Amazing what a perfect card a calendar makes!! Or computer paper for that matter!
Thank you for your kind comments for me and on my cards. They mean the world to me. I cherish each and every one! Really. This Queen stuff has sure given me lots of warm fuzzies!!

Great 'on the fly' card Nutzi! Watch out for Punchiez who have mad crushes on closet cowboys with this one! And Bugzi will be well served to pay heed to your advice about past Queens - we know of whom you speak...!!! Fake blogz and listening devices and not being able to move on... You called it! Great quick card.

LOL Nancy!!! I'll just bet there are listening devices and all manner of spy equipment on this supposed calender card! I'll bet you've managed to sneak some sort of circuitry into that stamped sentiment!! Some might say I wasn't born yesterday! ;)Great card!
