Congratulations to Shellapoo (Michelle) on being this week's Queen for the Day! She truly deserves this honor bestowed upon her. Anne Ryan writes it best in her challenge description:
"This stamper has but one purpose when making cards. Most of her cards are designed for children. She has a profound appreciation for what it’s like to be sick ~ (she has advanced MS) ~ so she sends her cards to ‘chemo’ kids in area hospitals. She will also sometimes send sympathy cards to the families of those children who have died. However important making kid cards is to her, this stamper has been unable to stamp since the end of May. When the heat of summer arrived, she was totally drained of all energy and mobility. It was virtually impossible for her to stamp. That’s what this QFTD34 challenge is all about ~ we need to add to her stash!"
"I am asking everyone to either craft a kid style card so this stamper can continue to shower chemo kids with cheer and encouragement or craft a sympathy card for those families that have lost their children to this horrific disease."
Here's the card of Michelle's that I chose to case:
I chose this cute tiger image by Inkadinkadoo for my kid card. This also applies for Jeanne's Free for All challenge to put a tail in our design. I colored my image with reinkers and watercolor brush. Then I used a black marker to put polkadots on his shirt and stripes on his tail.
Michelle, I think this is an awesome thing you do for the kids and their families, and I am most happy to help you out with adding to your stash of cards! Bless you, and I pray you will find health and strength in the days ahead so that you can get back to stamping!

Oh how sweet, Charlene. Thanks so much for the shout out to others about Michelle's cause. Your image is a hoot and even though I have those nesties, I've not been able to figure how to use them w/an image. Thanks for the inspiration. Love your reinker coloring too. Very special indeed, my friend.

This is just the cutest card for the Chemo kids and I do see that tail on this cutie. Michelle will be so happy to receive it.

Oh, this is so sweet! What a great TAIL choice for the F4A challenge. Super colors for a boy card. The ribbon treatment is very cool
