I attended a Christmas shoebox swap the other day and one of the ladies did a place card using a butterfly clip (I think that's what those are called). Her's used the So Many Scallops "celebrate the season" stamp from SU. That design leaves the silver "handle" visible and it was tied with ribbon. A card is then created to slide into the top of the clip. My version adheres to the whole clip and so I attached a little banner (Anna Wight style) for the name.

This is FABULOUS!! Love the colonial blue with the twine, heart button and punched greens. The way you did the name tag is great! Everyone will be wowed when they come to your holiday table!

Would this swap have happened in Rochester, NY? did you meet Ina? Your place card is fabulous and so wonderfully country, anna g. style. Glad to see you in the gallery a little more often. Always a delight.
