Say it every week Stef, another great site you have shared with us again. I was inspired by a lot. I even saw a salt & pepper toaster that brought back memories. For today I chose this one. I also was inspired by a picture a customer had on the out side wall so I sort of threw some of that in on my card too, the theme fit.......details....
Since I didn't have a poodle image, I stamped this Inkadinkado doggie and added fun flock to it so he would resemble a poodle. Thus "faux" poodle. hehe
The light pole and yellow scalloped trim is from the IC image. The rest from the picture. For the trim, I stamped a MFT image in butterscotch, cut out and put on.
All coloring was done with prisma pencils and gamsol. Added some stickles to the puff balls on his feet and tail. Put this all on a red card trying to add a little color.
Well, there you have it. A faux poodle in all his glory. Don't know why he is standing under a light pole. Makes one wonder, don't it?.......TFL :0)

Oh, I see you've been driving down my old street again, havent you? Silly, it's not oo la la avenue. I've never lived on an avenue yet and probably never will. But anyway, not only are we neighbors in the gallery today, I see you've managed to stretch the IChallenge, too. Oh, dont you just love it when that happens. You're sorta reminding me of the other russian spy with taking a black dog image and turning it into a poodle. Now that's where the stretc comes in. I mean really. When California falls into the ocean and you loose all your pool customers, you can always turn to what you do best: graphics. This is one heck of a fun and fabulous card, my friend.
