I created this card for two challenges - QFTD honoring Dorothy (yea Dorothy) and Inspiration Challenge.
Dorothy is such a sweetheart. I looked through her gallery and chose this card from way back as my inspiration. I also used the green bag Stephanie showed in her post for the inspiration challenge.
Now please understand, I am working under extreme challenge right now. I am at my sister's house and only have a handful of my gear here. Talk about limited supplies! lol I think this is close enough for both challenges though.
I stamped the fern onto white cs using Shabby Shutters and Forest Moss Distress inks. The edges are distressed with my wolverine fingernails. lol That was mounted onto the green cs. I stamped the sentiment using the Forst Moss ink as well and added three little buttons I had to hunt all over my sister's house to find. I didn't bring embellishments!!!!! What? OH NO! The ribbon is from Mark's Finest Papers. I love the gingham ribbons and this is a really nice one. Okay, I think that's it. I'm through whining now. ;-) Thanks for looking

this is a great limited supply card, and it meets two challenges! Here I sit with all my stuff and I'm wondering what to make and you have only a handful of things and come up with a beautiful card! I love it.

So pretty! Amazing what you were able to whip up with limited supplies. The little buttons are adorable. I hope you are enjoying spending time with your sister.

WOW! I am with the posters above - this is a terrific card for limited supplies. The green with the branch is perfect, and it is good you could round up those just right buttons! Thanks to your sister.
Thank you also for all the kind words. and for helping to make this a special time. You really went back in time to find this - and I may need to case yours!

For someone's who's traveling lightly shall I say, you've created a gorgeous card for both challenges. It's totally natural and uncomplicated ... just like things of nature.

This card reminds me of the phrase "back to nature" in the most calming sense of the words. Your combination of greens is just the right one, and the ribbon and buttons complement perfectly. TFS this great CASE and honoring our Queen Dorothy!!
