Today's challenge is to create a card with a personal meaning. I had volunteered to make cards for "group" signatures for a memorial service to be held at our RV resort in a few days.
The service is for three friends who have passed away in the past several months. (One name may be familiar to Coloradans, or Broncos fans - Tim McKernan, the 'Barrel Man'.).
All three had spent many summers at our resort which is located at Blue Mesa Reservoir in Colorado.
I used a photo of the reservoir at sunset. Thanks to TeeGeeDee (Forums at Splitcoaststampers) I was inspired to use this verse. I also developed new skills using Picasa to place the verse over the photo.
Thanks also to CAKath who posted a card that helped me with the layout.
The card is 8.5x5.5
Edited: I forgot to mention that using the cuttlebug and nesties would be a favorite technique - I do have a hard time pinning that down to one! (You could get by with taking away a lot of my supplies, but do not try to take the cuttlebug!)

You made a lovely card and I feel honored to have helped in some way. I always enjoy your gallery and have been a recipient of you generosity on WRAK (Wish-RAK).
The photo is beautiful and I can imagine it is more amazing in person. I think it is perfect for this memorial card.

Your sentiment is beautiful and using the picture of where your friends spent good times is a wonderful idea. Sorry for your loss, I'm sure your card will truly touch the recipient. Thank you for sharing your card.
