Today's challenge is to create a card with a personal meaning. I had volunteered to make cards for "group" signatures for a memorial service to be held at our RV resort in a few days.
The service is for three friends who have passed away in the past several months. (One name may be familiar to Coloradans, or Broncos fans - Tim McKernan, the 'Barrel Man'.).
All three had spent many summers at our resort which is located at Blue Mesa Reservoir in Colorado.
I used a photo of the reservoir at sunset. Thanks to TeeGeeDee (Forums at Splitcoaststampers) I was inspired to use this verse. I also developed new skills using Picasa to place the verse over the photo.
Thanks also to CAKath who posted a card that helped me with the layout.
The card is 8.5x5.5
Edited: I forgot to mention that using the cuttlebug and nesties would be a favorite technique - I do have a hard time pinning that down to one! (You could get by with taking away a lot of my supplies, but do not try to take the cuttlebug!)

That phrase gave me the chills. This is absolutely beautiful, calming, comforting, and perfect! The butterfly finishes it off perfectly. I love the image you chose too... simply stunning!
