Holly challenged us to use our fave technique along with creating a personalized card. My fave & most used technique is adding sponging to my cards (this one happens to have only a small amount on the flower layers) and I went with a monogram for my personalized focal point. I kept it monochromatic and wanted to give Kiwi Kiss one last hurrah before it retires! I was hoping it would be a part of the new colors for SU, but it ended up on the chopping block! Julee Tilman has a fabulous sketch on the Mojo Monday blog...it's the first Monday of the month, so she has prizes for winning entries. Thanks for looking and commenting!

I think sponging adds so much to a card....takes it from blah to fab!! Love your sponged flower, GF!!

Very vivacious design - love the monochromatic paired with the black. I like Kiwi better than Wasabi, and was disappointed as well that SU chose wasabi over KK. KK is such a great green for spring and summer and looks great paired with red for Christmas holiday projects. Oh well, boy am I rambling on this post!!!! LOVE YOUR CARD LOL!!!!
