The little bird square is popped up on a dimensional. My dotted ribbon is threaded through a little silver belt buckle. I scored the pink background and then swiped a white ink pad across the scored paper to make the score lines more prominent. It also "frosted" the cardstock a bit in between the lines--I really like that serendipitous effect!!
Inside the card it reads "Hoping that each day finds you feeling more and more like your wonderful self!" I'll send this to one of my best friends when she undergoes surgery next week.

Such a sweet card in those colors! Everyone seems to be using that color combination, but I cant get it to work for me like you have. Love your interpretation. Perfectly sweet card.

Oh, Emily, your friend is going to LOVE receiving this card after having surgery. It is beautifully put together. LOVE the color combo, the layout, the torn edge and the ribbon/buckle treatment and images are just awesome!! What a great job you've done here!! TFS!!
