I hadn't made a card since last Saturday and was starting to go into withdrawal!!! This is for the wonderful Inspiration Challenge today featuring the tiles of Xenia Taler. Fabulous site, Stef, thanks!
So I created a gatefold card not unreminiscent to me of a kimono itself. The belly band was run through the CB and topped with a snowflake. The inside is stamped with swirling snowy flourishes.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Now wait a minute: I didnt see your card here a few hours ago before I talked to Peggy. Where did this come from? Geez, I know I'm really losing my mind now. Anyway, this here is one super tall card. That paper is gorgeous and the belly band is such a perfect touch! Sorry I've havent emailed you. Life just keeps getting in the way. So glad to see you in the gallery today! Hugs

I would never be able to get my mind round a tall thin gatefold (a fold I struggle with at the best of times), but you are right - it's great for a kimono - especially with that beautiful paper and the scalloped closing edges.
