Another fan club inspired card. this is for a friend that has been getting invitro and is finally successfuly preggo!
I colored the nest and eggs and clear embossed them.
Stamped the tree branch and leaves, sponged the edges and distressed them.
the bg is stamped with Woodgrain and distressed. i tucked a peacock feather I found in Chinatown behind the image and under the ribbon in the front.
Thanks for looking.

Peggy-Sue, first, how wonderful your friend's invitro was a success! Happy couple, I'm sure. What a beautiful card to send her. I love your card, my friend. Not only is it a congratulory card but with that wonderful nest, it really suggests the beginning of new life. How wonderful. I really like its simplicity rather than fancy and traditionally female.
Beautiful coloring and that feather like the one you sent me is totally fabulous. Girl, I swear you have a heart as huge as the country of Canada! PS, hows the job search?

I just LOVE your beautiful card. I am new to stamping but I do have a similar stamp so I entered bird nest in the search and found this! I would like to learn how to do something along these lines. Did you stamp the branches first and then stamp the nest over it? How did you get the branches to not show thru? What do you mean that you painted the nest and eggs and clear embossed? How would I do that and what do I need in the way of supplies? Sorry if this is alot of questions...I have books on stamping but I kind of need to pull some of the information together. Thanks kindly in advance for your help:-)
