I actually did this card yesterday but works perfectly for today's challenge. Hopefully you will agree.
I decided to send a little Colorado to Nathan this time. At least the deers are not upside down!!! I had fun coloring with prisma pencils and gamsol. Last time I used this technique my image cracked too much, this time you can barely see it. Maybe next time it will be perfect. I did a lot of sponging on this card to distress it. I tried to take this picture on my tree and of course it was blurry. My camera a tree have issues!!!
Hope you like it. Comments appreciated.

This is simply gorgeous Sis! The sponged distressed edges just make it so warm and fuzzy. Maybe you should have put it in today's challenge! lol Your deer scene is amazing. I think the glass cracked just the right amount. Looks way cool. Nathan is going to love this. If he doesn't, give him my forwarding address! Love this! TFS :0)

Connie Jo, if you'd like, I've got too sisters. I can't guarantee that they will be kinder and nicer......... in fact - they are a lot like me, so you might want to stick with Kathy - but let me know if you decide otherwise!
As for your card - it looks just great!! Fabulous job with the cracking - I can see it perfectly - and your sponging is fabulous!! Great card - faux stitching....... what's sewing machine again?? What's Mutnik talking about???? I assure you, I have no idea!!!
