What a great inspiration site. I strolled through it for over two hours last night, just gathering inspiration for my card today AND for future cards. I was just in inspiration heaven! So many cool ideas. I printed out a copy of the one I chose, good thing, because it would take me forever to find it again........here's what I did..........
First off, this card was made possible thanks to Stamp Muse and the wonderful RAK I received Friday. Thank You Miss M!!! This image alone would make any card worthy of looking at and you wouldn't have to do a thing to it. I added some color with copics and re-inkers. Cut it out and set aside.
For the bg panel I sponged the bottom with sandal and stamped itty bitty bg for the sand. Masked off and sponged the water, masked some more and sponged the sky. Added the two sail boats with copic opaque paint.
Stamped some white cs with going gray using the weathered stamp from SU. Cut out the center to make it into a frame.
Stamped the same stamp on a white card with versa mark and then sponged denim on top.
Put my bg behind the frame, then put it on the card. Added my darling little girl image popping up part of her hat and lunch basket. I also added a tiny bow that I made using my new Bow Easy template. Had to watch the video to figure out how to use it. LOL .....Note to Anne Ryan: you maybe able to make BIG bows, but can you make tiny ones???? Huh Mizz Ryan?
Let me explain that note, you see Sputnik and I are in a bow war with Anne Ryan. She makes gorgeous bows freehand and we are making them with our new Bow Easy things. Just some added excitement to SCS.
Well, hope you like my take on the IC today. Again, Thanks Stamp Muse for such a wonderfully cute image! .................TFL :0)
Hi Sis! How are your bows coming?

Gracious me, you always totally blow me away with your creations, Mut! This is so WOW that I still can't quite breathe yet. (It was a very large GASP when I first saw your card ... I am still choking, thank you very much!)
Your coloring is always spot-on perfect, but you are a master of creating scenes. And what a scene this is! Such a wonderfully inspired creation, Mut Nut. Love it.
That crackled background provides such a fabulous frame for your cutie!
I'd like to trick you and jaydekay into holding workshops in tandem. I'm first in line! Since you live so close in proximity, can we meet half way?
I guess I better start stampin' now. If I send you images of all my stamps, perhaps then I'll then know the proper creative way to use them. Of course, that would take me about 2 years, 3 months and 19 days. But if I start now ...
