I'm the first to admit I've gone waaay overboard with the Faux Burnt Edges technique today! LOL I combined this technique challenge with the VLVJul01 sketch challenge with a twist to "add distressing." My distressing has obviously gone into a 5-alarm fire zone! After I finished sponging I thought "what in the world am I going to stamp on this now?" Verve just doesn't make an appropriate stamp for something like this!! LOL I found this amusing chihuahua stamp and thought of Paris Hilton's dog Tinkerbelle. Immediately "That's Hot" came to mind! Perfect for my burnt card! I sponged the ribbon to look burnt, and the sentiment was computer generated.

Thanks for a fun technique Lynne, although I didn't do it much justice! Heh And thanks to Amber (don't faint!) for a great sketch! I hope you all have a good chuckle today.....it's good for the soul

AWESOME!!! I think that you've done one terrific job on this technique. Love the distressed and faux burnt panels, the mirrored colors of the bg cs and the ribbon, that adorably cute image and just the right pop of color in your coloring. Wow.....

Carol, I tried to leave a comment earlier today on your blog, but wasnt able to. Hope others didnt have the same experience: That's Hot, girl, let me just tell you that. Paris, Tinkerbelle or whatever, this is one hot card. It's just amazing how well you mastered today's technique. You just never disappoint your admirers! This is perfectly wonderful, my friend. PS: Thanks for the email. I didnt have time to really respond. After I process everything, I'll be back in touch. Until then, you take great care, girl.
