I finally made time to get my VLVJun04 card done. This week's sketch challenge and "twist" was to use one piece of dsp and draw inspiration from that. I used a piece of BG Wisteria dsp because I love the blue and purple combination. This was done in brocade blue and eggplant, with some ivory accents. The little embellishments in purple and blue were punched from cardstock and covered with CTMH liquid glass since I didn't have matching brads. I stamped off the little flowers once in eggplant and added a 3mm pearl to the centers. I wish now that I'd used a darker shade of blue for the sentiment because it's barely visible, but I'm happy with the overall look.
Thanks for another great challenge Amber, and thanks for stopping by ;)

Now how the heck did you ever think of this design? It's fabulous. Love the circle nesties with that paper, Carol. Your sentiment is just perfect with the warmth your card suggests. Wonderful card.
