I have sort of a long drive to my first pool on Friday, so I usually call my sister to catch up on things. I had pulled over to finish our conversation, when this older man went riding by on his bike. He had his arm held high in the air while holding a leash......with an empty collar? He soon realized his dog had slipped out. What a funny site to see! Wish I had my video camera right then!
One of today's requirements on the challenge was to put an animal on our cards. I love animals, don't know what I'd do without a dog in my life....maybe vacuum less! LOL Anyway, I was inspired by one of my past dogs. I came home one day, and this is the sight I saw....my "watch dog".....on his back....on the cough....snoozing away! Such a cute funny sight! LOL...so on to the brief details of the card.....
Stamped my dog, clear eb, cut him out minus the bee that was on his nose and colored with w/c pencils. Set aside.
Drew the couch, rug, and lamp, then colored with w/c pencils. Added the pink dots, another requirement using pink, with a stylus and acrylic paint. Stippled the wall with acrylic paint giving it that "faux" look, stippled the carpet with sandal ink. The base board was colored with w/c pencils. Sponged edges with tea dye and doodled.
Popped up part of my doggie on the couch. Put this little scene on a white card that I sponged the edges meadow. Well, I hope you like my "watchdog" here!....TFL :0)

You always put such great little touches on your cards. I love the lamp. How cute is that. I feel like this pooch today. I am exhausted. Great job. Really nice coloring. I can just see this guy dragging his leash. TFS Cathy....

You see all kinds of things on those CA freeways! What a site that must have been! I love your drawing! It's a site for poor eyes, that's for sure. Let's face it, though, our dogs were meant to be spoiled and it jsut happens your former little guy must have had a very trying day while you were working.
