I have been going through cards I made when I started back in February this year, and this will come as no surprise to you, but I have decided to make some changes to some of them, this one being one of the first water colours I had done.
It was very minimalist, and I have discovered that I am anything but so I started adding a bit more 'interest' to it. I only had to remove the ribbon and sentiment that was on it to bring it back to the layered image and one piece of green DP. I tore some embossed card and inked it to add texture, then chalked a filigree image that I had, once I had stuck this on with 3D foam tape, it started to feel like a scene in a park and the filigree was the park bench. I added the lavendar stem and the bird, then finished it off with the layered sentiment.
It is very different from what Istarted with, and not at all colours I would 'go with' now, but all-in-all, I am happy with it.....what do you think??? Thanks so much for looking, I appreciate it!

Beautiful work. I don't know how you do it Linda, this card is amazing. Love the "L" border, then your added flower matching with this sweet girl you colored with brio! Love it, an original! TFS
