Just got my Cuttlebug a couple days ago! A friend said she stored her smaller dies in a baseball card holder in a 3 ring binder - she hadn't figured out a system for the larger ones yet.
- Looking thru a box of unfinished projects (I'm good at that!) I found horizontal photo pages that hold 3.5x5 prints (3 to a page) and 4x6 prints (2 to a page) that fit a 3 ring binder; these are toploading, so the dies, etc. wouldn't fall out, and there is a small pocket along side the pocket for the photo where you could slip in either the label off the original packaging or a handwritten ID. Don't have the alpha or embossing folders yet, but I think thd folders might fit in the 4x6 pages.

I store my CB folders in the same thing that I store my card fronts in - protectors that hold 4 to a page. I get mine through Century Photo - they are just the right size.

but so far I am using a plastic crate designed to hold CDs. It holds all my CB plates and embossing folders as well as the fiskar texture plates all standing up on end and right at my fingertips.
We are using the fake wooden books that they sell at Michael's, the kind with the empty inside. The plan is to decorate them and leave them out by the cuttlebug. Have one for dies and one for embossing folders. Hadn't even thought of using a binder system.
I'm using the snap store containers from Target. I really like them... some have compartments for the smaller dies and embossing folders, and some are undivided, so the A2 embossing folders and alphas and even the plates fit in! I bought 3 sets, just for future additions! LOL

I use the little 4x6 photo albums you can buy cheap at Joanns to store my dies and my brass embossing templates. Haven't figured out where to store the big embossing folders so they're just stacked on my table.
I've got lots of extra pages from my scrapbook storage binder, they are 12x12 and have different sizes "pockets" in them, most are the perfect size for the CB dies and folders, I put them in a cheap plastic 12x12 album, it's working great for me
I haven't seen this mentioned, but I store my embossing folders and dies in 2 altered ProvoCraft lunchtins. The folders are in one, the dies in another. Looks cute, easy to transport, and fun to decorate.
Don't laugh, but I have mine in a metal tin my watch came in. It fits my small dies and folders perfectly, but I do have to look through all of them to find the ones I want. Does anyone have the cases that I have seen on ebay?
I was at the Container Store this week and found a Snapware container. There are 3 sections to this container and they all stack and snap together. The bottom one holds the A and B plates (haven't used C yet, so that's stored elsewhere) along with all the embossing folders (I have 10 or so). then in the next one, I have my two alphabets, and then in the top one I have my smaller dies. Works great and the top is Cuttlebug Green - exactly the same color! Works well for me!

my embossing folders are still in the pkg they came in . . . I just pop them back in it when I am done . . . haven't found anything to keep them in . . . yet. LOL
I went out to walmart to look for some trading card sleeves as well as cd sleeves that would all fit in a binder-- well I found the trading card ones.. but nothing for CDs and our local Staples was closed. So I came home with nothing... I went to put my Embossing folders back when I spied the new Crop In Style PSB that I just purchased with a 50% off coupon--- and I was excited... the quarter sized embossing and cutting Dies fit in the little sticker slots perfectly.. and the Sizzix and Cuttlebug Embossing folders fit in the Quarter sized!!! Guess I will have to store my cards somehow else!! Cause it is perfect for the embossing folders and it Zips closed for perfect traveling! Hope this helps someone!
I only have the A2 embossing folders and I have them all stored in the Marvy Uchida Ori Yoki large box organizers. I also use these to store most of my clear stamps. They are plastic, snap together easily and are only about $4.00 per box. They also come in all sorts of fun colors.
I use the trading cards/cd protector in a binder method. I posted pics in another thread just like this one. Let me see if I can find it...Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Try that link. Scroll down to post #9 for the pics.
Yes, yes, but is everyone leaving their CB out on the shelf? I want to know what box or bag the CB itself fits into. Preferably red or black! If Provocraft makes a red or black Cuttlebug, I'll buy another!
I got two of these last week and they're perfect. I love the compartments for the smaller dies.

I'm using a 3-part gardening bag, lol! Not sure if you'll all know what I'm talking about, but it's the bag that is used often at conventions for holding swap cards. It's green mesh, rectangular in shape, with three equal-sized compartments. I keep the CB folders and dies in one end, the larger Ellison dies and texture plates in the other end, and the cuttlebug itself in the middle. I just stow the bag under my table at my feet until I need to use it, or I grab it to take to the nursing home to play. Very convenient!
