I live in the Rocky Mountains (the Utah side!) and....drumroll, please---I'm a stamper!
It's kinda cute as DH has picked up my SCS name and calls me that sometimes. When he set up my stamp set inventory list on Excel, he typed in the title "RockyMountainStamper's Stamp Inventory".
JulieHRR has shortened it to "Rocky" which I like too. We miss you, Julie!!!

I love reading all the interesting stories of names. Unfortunately I did not realize that this name would stick with me for years to come...so don't judge me by my boring name.
I'm Shawn and I love Stamping therefore Stampingshawn.
Normally my online id is zelda (a nickname from my best friend from 7th grade Kimm Primm...yep that was her real name), not sure why I didn't go with Zelda. Oh well!

When I was 9, my first nephew was born. When beginning to talk, we found he had a slight speech impediment and couldn't pronounce his J's like a lot of babies and couldn't get his tongue to pronounce the D's. My first name is Judy ... he tried hard to say it but it came out "ooh-bee." My nickname has been "Oohby" ever since. He's now 40, I'm 49.
Believe it or not, when I wanted to use it for user ID's and such, I tried various spellings "oohbee," "ubee," "oobee" -- they were taken -- hence the spelling.
Funny story -- I worked for a law firm as an legal secretary for 21 years -- a life-long family friend called who was meeting me for lunch, thought I answered the phone and said "Hey Oohby, where do you want to meet?" My office mate, the other secretary said "Excuse me, are you asking for Oohby?" I just laughed and laughed, and said "Lori, I think that's for me!":p
Well, mine isnt that original. I started really stamping when we moved to Oklahoma. So I decided "okstamper" would do the trick.

I have been an uber-U2 (the band ; worship Bono) fan for over 18 years. Yes, I am one of those people that have had rooms in my house dedicated to them, the current incarnation now half U2, half art room. Only in one room this time because my husband is sick of seeing Bono everywhere, hehe. So that explains the U2 part.
"Kitteh" is just because my dearest love is kitty cats. I currently have four and if I had my way, would rather live with 6 billion of them than humans.
The word kitteh is from the icanhascheezburger.com website. If you have not visited this site, you have not fully experienced the internet. (If you love this site...Hai!!)

oh U2Kitteh, my husband think Bono sits next to God! when they go on tour, so do we!
Ooh! =cD Cool people! I love that "when they go on tour, so do we!" line. Hehe, I once got to follow them to four dates up and down Florida and Georgia. (Elevation, first leg) We must chat sometime! =cD OMG, U2 fans and stampers? Am I dreaming?!

saw them the first time in las vegas for the joshua tree tour, then saw them again in vegas for achtung baby, then saw them in seattle for pop mart tour, then saw them in slc for elevation (only U2 release i really don't like, please don't shoot me!) and then in arizona for vertigo.
hubby's only seen them four times, and only for three tours, am i  or what! HAHAHA
although i have to say, my very favorite release they never did a usa show for. i think zooropa is brilliant, and it never did much here. go figure!
Mine is my first name, then what my 2 Grandson's used to call me, now they call me Gramma, but, I don't want to change my name. My avatar is good old Elmo. They used to love to watch him, and to tell you the truth I think he is pretty funny myself.
Well on here its pretty self explanatory.. Fran is my name.. and the B is the first letter of my last name.. and 63 the year I was born.
Now all my other SN's or nics on my game sites are always with Casp, Casper, Casperette.. as I'm so fair skinned. It has been since I was young that I've had it. I know people think a person born and raised in South Florida how can anyone be white as a ghost. I am not a beach bunny and never have been. My roommate had a boyfriend at the time and I musta been smart.. go figure I would do suching a thing and turned and told me to bite his "behind" Casp.. and explained that anyone next to me was darker cuz I was soooooooooooooooooo white..
Mine is pretty self explanatory too if you look at my avatar. I have 4 miniature dachshunds... Most of the doxie names I came up with were taken, so I settled on doxiegal. Sometimes I wish I had made it more stamp related, though.

One of my hats is being a music minister + my name is Kelly. I took "MUSI" from music and "KEL" from my name to spell the word musical in a personal way.
littlegto Little GTO A muscle car in the 60's We have 3. Littlegto is his sign on. I use it so I can save my creative processes for making cards! Boring huh! The angel dog is my Pomeranian. Her name is Tessa.
Sharon
My name came to me as a pressie from my best friend.
She came up with it as 1. I collect sheep & 2. I'm suffer with Bipolar disorder hence the play on words........baa-me-chick........barmey chick. Lol!
I now have t-shirts & mugs etc with my name on. Thanks Fay!
I choose mrsclark as my yahoo email name in the year 2001, although I was actually married in 1999. Sadly, my Mr. has passed away – but everytime I see my screen name I think of him.

I don't really have a nickname, but I did have one back in high school. One day in study hall the teacher let us talk the whole time:rolleyes: and a friend and I were sitting next to some people quite different from us (do-it-yourself tatoos, etc...) As we were leaving my friend said to me, "It was kinda fun talking to people who aren't normal." I laughed and said, "Like we're normal?!" From that point on we were Norm and Norma Normal. That's all we called each other. He was a great guy, liked by everyone. Sadly, he passed away just after his 21st birthday.
So I'm Norma Normal. It reminds me of my good friend and it provides me annonymity. I haven't posted much yet, but am getting up the nerve to post a card... I'm a beginner.
My SCS name is Shelley1010. My name is Michelle, but my parents/grandparents always called me Shelley--I HATED it!! I would always say, "My name is NOT Shelley--it's Michelle!!" Now that I'm an adult, I don't mind Shelley so much any more. The 1010 is my anniversary date. I use Shelley1010 on a bunch of different sites!
My SCS name, Scrappigramma2 is from the fact that I use scraps of fabric to quilt, scraps of paper to make cards, scrap book, etc. hence the scrappi... gramma2 because I'm gramma to 2 wonderful children... Nathan and Lauren.

I was a seamstress for years. Making wedding dresses and quilts. Sadly my carpal tunnel interferes with my sewing. It hasn't yet stopped my stamping!
I was 46 when I joined SCS and decided on a proper name. I used a gamer name before that on different chat sites and email.
The number one is because I have to be clever, sigh, drives people crazy in my email.

That's such a touching story; sorry that your friend died at such an early age. Your screen name is a nice way to remember him and the fun times you had.
Good luck posting your cards and don't be discouraged if you don't get lots of comments right away. The challenges are fun and a good way to get more ideas for cards!
