I call that "stop light" green. I had an outfit that colour back in the 70's - not sure I'd wear it now - I love it with navy and white, though. It would go best on CAS cards rather than anything...

I use the SU scallop border punch the most - have tried many others but it is my "go to" punch. Plain enough for masculine cards but also fancy enough for "fancy" cards.

Are you using chalk or chalk ink? For chalk I sometimes seal it with a fixative to stop it smudging. If you use versamark ink under chalk, it won't come off.

I was about to say the same thing - we don't all live in igloos!! I'm also on the west coast and love our winters because of very little snow! Still wish the prices were less in the catty, though!!
