I am just curious. There are so many wonderful Halloween stamps yet I have never in my life mailed or given my family or friends a Halloween card.
Do You give them ?

I don't. But then, I don't really send many *festival* cards apart from Christmas. If I think of it in time I send a real or an e-card to my half sis for St. Patrick's Day and Thanksgiving, but Easter and Halloween don't really figure for me.
I have a friend who sends cards for virtually every holiday and I aspire to be like her :-) Other than Christmas, I don't usually do a mass mailing of cards to people.

I make Halloween cards b/c they're fun to make. But, in truth, I actually give very few of them away. They just accumulate - waiting for the right audience to give them to, I guess.
I know many do. My sis makes a lot and mails them out, however, I do not. I do Fall type cards but Halloween per say is against our beliefs.
Hi Barbara.
This reminds me that I need to get my Hallowe'en card in the mail for my niece. She's 11 and the only one I send Hallowe'en cards to. I may, just for the fun of it this year, send one to my Mom and one of my friends in another city. But that's just because I want to call them a witch and they won't take offense to it.

I send Halloween cards every year to family and friends. This year I made 25. I don't like the "dark" scary kind - mine are usually something like the cute, upbeat little ghost on this year's card.
This was a Michael's $1 wood stamp that I just couldn't resist. I made his little shoes glittery green. Inside, a pop-up says "Boo!"

I only send Halloween cards to the grand kids because they are out of state and usually send stickers or something in the cards (they are all young ones). I also only send non-gross, non-scary cards. Halloween isn't my favorite holiday.

I send Halloween cards, Thanksgiving cards, and Christmas cards. Because my card list is huge I divide people up and rotate them among three holidays. People who receive Halloween cards one year will receive Thanksgiving or Christmas cards the next. It's the only way I can manage my time, and I enjoy making all three. At first I thought people might feel slighted not getting Christmas cards every year, but they don't. Some told me they enjoy trying to remember which card they will get this year.

Makes me wish I picked up that stamp when I saw it. Maybe they still have it in the bin. I'll have to check this weekend.
I send them to my family, friends and make some for my coworkers to give. It is my favorite holiday to make I think. I like funny, cute ones..and on occasion a few gross ones for the boys. I will post some when I get them done. I do cards for all holidays (even one card for flag day as my kid sister teases me I send cards for every holiday, so it is our tradition...) Enjoy creating what makes you happy..and others will enjoy the benefits too.
I love all the halloween images and have many. I have never sent a card. I used to use them for the kids school parties, bag toppers and such but they have grown out of that.
I send out 8 or so to family and friends. I make a special one for my older granddaughter and eventually her younger baby sister will get one too! They are just fun to make! Never, ever sent store bought Halloween cards/other holidays, in fact I just sent Christmas cards before I started making my own.
I don't make Halloween cards scary/creepy, but fun. That's what the occasion is really about IMHO.
They are my very favorite cards to make. I LOVE the Halloween themes. I realize that it isn't really a card holiday - and I am not really a person who gets into the Halloween mood - I don't do a lot of decorating or wear a costume or any of that stuff - but I make and send over 50 Halloween cards per year.
I do! It's my favourite kind of card to make. I make Halloween cards all year round. One year, I even made Halloween-themed Christmas cards (witches wearing red and green, candy canes hanging from a spooky tree, etc.). I don't give Halloween cards to my sister's kids though (they get "fall" cards, which I think of as "pseudo-Halloween") - Halloween is also against their beliefs. I also don't like the gross or scary images - just the cute ghosts and country-style stitched jack-o-lanterns, etc.
I love making Halloween cards -- so much so that one of my projects each year (with the help of my sister) is making cards for all the residents who live at the assisted living faciity where my mom lives -- 90 residents in all! The activity director says they love getting the cards.

I was lucky enough to get one of these, and it is ADORABLE! Thanks Bugga! I have cards made for family and friends, and will be sending them out soon. I prefer cute and fun rather than gross or scary.
I love making Halloween cards. I send them to my grandchildren and my stamping friends. I love the dollar stamps at Michael's and Joann's. They make such cute cards for children! The ones for my friends are a little more sophisticated. I love receiving Halloween cards from them, also!
For the last few years, I have been making Halloween cards other members of my craft group as my Oct swap. I make cards to give to members of another group that meet once a week. (I haven't been a paper crafter very long and had to built up my confidence to give my crafted items away.)
Bugga-
Bought the series of Halloween stamps at Michael's. The 2 Michael's I went had a different assortment of characters. I bought 2 different Count Draculas and 2 different skeletons. Saw them used on a crafter's blog and had to find them. They are just too cute!
I love making Halloween cards for family and friends. Next to Christmas cards, Halloween cards are my favorites and I have soooo many wonderful Halloween stamps so I have to make cards. But then I make Thanksgiving, Easter, and Valentine cards along with birthday, anniversary, get well, etc.
I am just getting into crafting also. I am working on my first cards ever, one to a good friend. But like Crafter 4 Life, I also am hesitant to give them because I just don't know what they will think. I really want to make a few halloween cards though for family memebers and I think I will be doing it from now on. I love Halloween and like everyone else, I like the cute ones. And, your cards are so darn cute.
I make them for a craft fair this weekend. If they don't sell, I'll send them to some BRAK people who have birthays the last of this month. I guess I'm being "little" but I don't send Halloween cards to my neices and nephews any more. After several years of "am not sure they received them". I don't send any more.

Yep, I send about 10 each year. I have a great supply of Michael's wooden halloween dollar stamps and had never bought a set until this year with SU's Out on a Limb. I couldn't resist that little witch!
