As a high school English teacher I'm all for bookmarks that command the youngsters to read but Cameo Coral and Pink Passion?? That's just frightful, girlfriend!! Still, not as ugly as my glitter card and Bluebear's, "Curses! Foiled again!!" card. Keep trying, tho. I think you show promise in the horrific color combo arena.
I delved into the beginning pags of my gallery and YUCK there are a few nasty ones. This one is REALLY ugly. I was discovering the chalk pastels and obviuosly not very successfully. File this into the what was I thinking category:
Just bumping this up because I think it's too funny. Still cracking up at some of these cards. I've even gone back and taken a 2nd peek at some.....heeheehee!
I just went to the gallery and searched ugly card and came up with 51! Not all of your beauties are there, so I was wondering could you edit your cards to reflect the ugly card status and then we could search and better compare them side by side? Thanks

Wow Jody! I can't imagine you'd make a card like this! You always make gorgeous cards!!! You still don't win in my book for ugliest card - Bluebear has that one handsdown so far! TFS!

I've seen several that I think are kinda' cute! Just a handful qualify as truly awful IMO! I know I've made my share of ugly cards, I just usually toss them rather than save them. I am ashamed to say that I actually SOLD an ugly card to my sister and she used it!!! I'd post a pic, but it's on the other PC.

I have to be at the top, or at least close, with this. It is just so much uglier than most of what I have seen here.

My vote is that Leslie wins so far. While the foil rose is truly hard to look at, the teapots, while individually having potential, together make a card that made me gasp it is so unattractive (sorry Leslie) :-). Cool technique but truly a bad card.

Haha! We all had to start somewhere right? In my defense the actual card was designed by someone else, but I did all the stamping and chalk rubbing. LOL It is just bad. What's worse is that I uploaded it??? WTH was I thinking? LMAO

This isn't a card, but a gift bag that I made. It isn't only ugly, but sad. :eek: I was attempting the Labor Day Challenge of using a whole sheet of patterned paper. My brain was beyond dead and I was bored with the patterned paper by the time I got to the bag. I hated it then and still do.

I'm new to stamping and as I look at some you consider ugly I am thinking...Hmm that is something I would probably do... or hey...did they steal these from my gallery? Does this mean that if I keep going that eventually I won't make ALL ugly cards?

There is ALWAYS HOPE even for a klutz like me. In my mind I can come up with great ideas. It's the transfer process --from head to hand to paper-- that gets messed up.
I'm still trying to decide how upset Bluebear would be if I CASEd her tinfoil card without crediting her. Or worse yet, what if I CASEd it without credit and then sold it on eBay?!
Wow, what a fun thread. I was looking for some of the cards I made way back when.. but they are on the other computer and I had to move it from one room to another upstairs and didn't get it hooked back up to the cable so I can view it on this computer ~ so I looked through what I had one this one. I made this card last October.. I don't know what I was thinking and after I finished it, I wished I hadn't even started on it. EEK!!!

I agree - my vote goes to Leslie too, although Bluebear is a close second.
I love this thread - after looking at the galleries of people who have posted ugly cards I feel hopeful that someday I can move from ugly to awesome.

My bad cards tend to go in the bin, or I pull off reusable bits. You've some great cards in your gallery.

Ok.. I have thought about this card for a long time. I love the theme, but the colors really suck and its just one layer. Be careful when you look at it. I may make you a bit green
