I think the colors and coloring are pretty awful! I hadn't been stamping long when I made it.

Oh, my goodness...you guys have me PIMP!! Hilarious! Okay, I vote for Bluebear.....oh, my goodness child. What were you doing that night. And I supposed you got the foil from one of the tin foil hats that are passed around in Current Events....no, lets see...maybe you had too many Jell-o shots.....heavens!
Okay, my 2nd vote goes to tashers and Mr. Potato Head....that was, er, well, it was sumfin' else girl!
And, I'm with several others....my U-gly ones go in the circular file.

I know ALL about your kind. You were the kid with the pink elephants and purple cows in kindergarten, weren't you? Green hair? Did you really color her hair green? Do you have to be a stamper for a while to know that hair is generally not green?
He likes the dog sticker card and Tashers Potatoe Head is his Fav - he started singing the Quiznos Sub commercial song from a few years ago "we love your subs" remember them? He said most of the rest were just crappy cards but not ugly. Joan he said your card made him think of clogged arteries??
just think this thread has kept me from researching US deportation law, laundry, finding a J sized nursing bra and putting it on my head for my new avatar and getting ready for a bbq! But man it's funny! I am going to dream about those baby hands!

Beth - I came in late on the tin foil hats...so I never quite knew what the heck y'all were talking about....but I think the tin foil rose shows that we were in sync before we ever met! Love ya girl!

Well, I'm not 100% sure about the tin foil hats myself. Something about wearing them and being brainwashed by the head conservative or something. Maybe Wrose can give us specifics. I'v seen pictures...but not the info from the first thread about it. Too funny.....
Anyway, I wanna see more cards.....keep posting ladies.....too stinkin' funny!
Ally, While your card has, how shall I say it, an uncomfortable color combination, it is not in the ranks of the truely ugly.
Doodlepie99, Not even close to the truely ugly, buh bye, try again.
I think JoanB deserves an honorable mention, but I'm sticking with Blubear. Her card haunted me last night as I tried to fall asleep (I would start laughing again everytime I thought about her card and her comment about finally a contest she could win).
I feel better now, it's not my fault then. It was the color combination challenge for that week, so it is all Emilymomto3boys' fault, it was her color combination!
The earliest mention I can find of the tin foil hats in CE is in a YEAR OLD heated thread, when Britta said something about not being able to read minds, and unless she needed a tin foil hat, the other person couldn't read hers. LOL

Thanks!! I think I kind of remember that, now that you mention it!! LOL!

Actually - you wear the tin foil hat to keep the aliens from controlling you through your brain. DUH!!!
it's all RFID-related - I can't say anymore - they'll be after me.
Sarah - what in the world were you smoking when you made that card?!?! Holy Cannoli, girl!! WOW.... WOW.... you certainly are de weiner!!
This thread has had me laughing so hard!!

I'm having such fun reading this thread! Here is my entry, and the pathetic thing is, I actually thought it was a pretty card when I posted it one short week ago! It only got two comments, and one was from my sweet sister Meema, who makes a nice comment on every card I post! So, here goes!
Omigosh, I'm laughing so hard I think I've scared my cat!

I'll bet she got it in NJ, 'cause I was smoking it too once upon a time. Off to fire up the scanner! Be back in a few with my humble ugliness.

Yeah, so my sister said that the first one, when I made it, looked like I had used toilet paper as my layers. Maybe I should have; it could only have been an improvement. Over the years, the ink has faded a little and the glue has kind of bled through. My mom still comes to my defense over that card. I wish she'd throw it away!
The second card was definitely beginner's scissor-happiness. I think I'll cut it up and flush it before my mom sends it to some unsuspecting victim. (Mom likes to "rescue" cards that end up in the trash.)
In my defense, these were both made a long time ago, way before I found SCS!
Okay, I'll way in....here's the worst of the worst in my gallery....and, I hate to admit it, but I think this was for a swap if I remember correctly. If you got this card from me.....I'm terribly sorry...it's, well, pretty ugly!!
This post should be titled, "When Bad Cards Happen to Good People" ... this is way too fun to read. I bet an "ugly" gallery would get just as many hits, if not more, as a "nice" gallery. I will tell you this... I'll never look at foil the same way again!!!!
 Here are my humble submissions to the shrine of ugliness. Even the fact that these were my beginning stamper/cardmaker days is no defense, because... <ahem>... ... one of the "hats" I wear at work is web designer. Being a pro didn't save me from my follies.
One is called, "Look, Ma, I have curvy scissors and I can tear paper!"
It's stamp twin is... "Watercolor Garden Speckle Sneeze."
The other card is... well, I made it for a friend based on a short period story she was writing. I just call it "Oh, ow!"
Avert your eyes, ladies! And Bluebear... "Could I 'ave been a contenduh?"

Well, for some of these cards, I'm thinking even that wise old saying doesn't work!

ok, I'll bite...is the deportation law to help you keep an illegal J bra in your lingerie draw???

Oh my, Illinois Marge...you should warn viewers to don sunglasses before enlarging your thumbnail. I almost got whiplash from throwing my head back from the glare.
Jessrose21! Wow! You are definately right up there with Stargirl and Blubear with your card only a mom could love.
Marionad, you humble me with your guts for posting these cards.
My thanks to all participants for a hilarious thread!
