I received a card after surgery and laughed out loud reading it and so I tried to replicate it using our stamps to send to a friend who just underwent surgery and needs a laugh. Inside reads: ...for the unbelievable things you said under the anesthetic! GET WELL SOON!!!

I love this Ellen! I need to make some cards for my Mom (who lives in a retirement community and needs LOTS of get well cards). Do you think this would go over well with the 70+ crowd?

Sharon - I probably have a warped sense of humor, but I do think any age group would get a laugh out of this one - glad you all think it's as funny as I did. I sure wish we had a goofy image of "Wanda" and maybe a "Ted" to go with it

Great card Ellen! I am going to have to remember this. I didn't have surgery when in the hosp a couple of weeks ago, but I understand the need to laugh when one is.

Oh, ELLEN! SHUT UP-SHUT UP-SHUT UP!!!!! How clever is that! Too funny! Boy, it's so very GOOD to see you posting again. I know surgery really takes it out of you. Bear hugs, girlfriend, and stamp on! I love it when you upload!

Cute! I have a dear friend who literally gets something removed each year (2005 was the year of the gall bladder, 2004 was a kidney.) I bet this would bring a smile to her face and be a nice change from the simple, sweet cards people usually give her. Great job.
