My CC97, Close to Cocoa, Pale Plum and Sage Shadow b-day card for our DIL. The Sage BG is stamped with Flannel and Best Blossom leaves in SS and stamped again with French Script in Close to Cocoa. The Best Blossom main image I masked to get the effect and then cut out the large blossom. I used little flower stickers (from a friend)in the center of the flowers. My trusty Crop-a-Dile was used for the brad holes and eyelet. So quick and easy. All the layers were distressed with my cutting tool and sponged with sponge daubers. Both birthday greetings were eb. using my faux craft ink technique.....ink stamp with versamark and then classic ink. Sprinkle with Clear EB pow. and heat. Works great if you do not have the craft ink color you need. Enjoy and TFL

Gorgeous card, Nancy! Best Blossoms is one of my all time fav sets and the CC is such a great one! Love the sage panel and the flowers with the hardware hanger!

So beautiful -- lot's of detail but still looks clean and classic. Really like what you did with the sage shadow paper. When I first looked at it I thought "Is that Basic Grey?" then I read your description. So impressed!! Adding it to my faves...
What an interesting mix of background stamps. Ilike the centering of the whatchamacallit so that it looks like a picture frame. The cut-out flower is very nice, too, along with the mix of colors.

How precious!!!! I love all of it, the layers, your background technique especially(I need to try that), love how you used the color challenge, your flower looks like it was punched, I wish i could cut that well, the distressed look adds so much. Your DIL will love this card,,,,, thanks for sharing,,,,,
