Another terrifying Watercolor Wednesday that turned out not to be so scary after all. We watched another Emma Lefebvre video. She sure does an excellent tutorial. She also has a lot more detail in her painting. I've accepted that I do not do detail. I don't do neat. I don't do precision. I slap the color on the paper and hope for the best. I got real nervous about those blobby snapdragons, but they came to life when I added the stems. And thanks for the perfect challenge, Brenda. My mom's cousin has been having serious health issues. The doctors have been doing so many tests and they still haven't found a diagnosis. This cheerful bouquet is just what I needed to send her way. AND, since I always make two cards, the other one is going to my friend who asked me for a get well card for a friend of hers.

I love your watercolouring! I think it's absolutely fine that you don't do detail. Such a pretty vase of flowers - a perfect get well card to cheer someone up.

You make me laugh with the terrifying tutorial. There are some that terrify me as well! This turned out really beautiful! I am so sorry for the reason you need to make this, I hope they are able to get to the bottom of the health issue.

Another watercolor challenge mastered! It may terrifying you, but I think you're getting the hang of it! This is very pretty; I love the patterned-paper framing; and the Monet-look of it!
