Another terrifying Watercolor Wednesday that turned out not to be so scary after all. We watched another Emma Lefebvre video. She sure does an excellent tutorial. She also has a lot more detail in her painting. I've accepted that I do not do detail. I don't do neat. I don't do precision. I slap the color on the paper and hope for the best. I got real nervous about those blobby snapdragons, but they came to life when I added the stems. And thanks for the perfect challenge, Brenda. My mom's cousin has been having serious health issues. The doctors have been doing so many tests and they still haven't found a diagnosis. This cheerful bouquet is just what I needed to send her way. AND, since I always make two cards, the other one is going to my friend who asked me for a get well card for a friend of hers.

Beautiful with the very soft flow. Like your style. Smart to make two cards at once. Need to try that. Thanks for the inspiration and joining us this week. Hope things go well for your family member.

You tickle me about the challenge being terrifying....but not in the end. I love your posts about watercolor and so happy you join us each week. Your watercolored flowers and jar turned out great....beautiful. And, I am glad it is the perfect challenge this week. So hope for a diagnosis for your relative. My hubby is going through something similar...always hard. See you next week, I hope.

Your snapdragons caught my eye right off and those little yellow blooms are super! I had snapdragons on my first attempt (and liked how they looked then forgot to add them to my second try - oh well) This should bring both sunshine and a hint of spring to your cousin.

I love your slapped on colors -- they say "watercolor" to me. I think it's that dreamy slightly out of focus look that attracts me to this medium -- like Monet. So sorry about your relative's ordeal. I think not knowing is really difficult so I hope they can figure it out for her soon -- and Brenda, for your husband too. Beautiful card and sure to cheer. Hugs to all.

Ah yes, you always make me laugh when you talk about watercolour Jen, yet your work is always spot on and this is no different. So very pretty and I agree, the stems make it all come to life. Thanks for your spirit Jen, and thanks for joining us.
