I purchased a Jane Davenport colouring book. The pages are perforated so they tear out easily. The idea behind the book is to get adventurous with different mediums. Images are printed on various weights and types of paper.
I usually fail miserably at the colour challenge (I get carried away and add too many extra colours). Can't possibly go wrong with red, white and blue!
I used Blueberry and Red Cherry Gelato's, blending them with a baby wipe and added white dots using a paint pen.
The background was really messy, so I did a quick snip around the girls and pasted them onto crisp white cardstock. This is going into my journal with a big reminder to use gelato's more often.
Thanks very much for looking.

WOW!!! You've been BUSY, Susie! LOVE the rich colors of Red, & Blue! This makes me think of old pattern books or advertisements for fashion! SO FUN! ;)<3

You captured me in 1975! I actually had a red polka dot swim suit. So far I've resisted the JD pull, but if that coloring has fashion images like this...I just might have to schedule in coloring playtime...
