Lisa is our hostess for this week's MMTPT530 Recycled Teapot Tuesday challenge. Our party this week is for Carol, Bobbie's Girl - so recycling is certainly very appropriate.
If you'd like to send a smile to Carol, check out the challenge post linked just above. And if there is anybody you would like to be the honoree of a tea-party, our doors are always open to help celebrate, encourage, support, or simply brighten a day.
I used an old set which was on my desk waiting for an opportunity to play with. The images were stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Inktense pencils, with the backgrounds sponged in. Little details were added with Liquid Pearls, Stickles, Enamel Accents and SN clear glitter pen.
I took a long narrow base so that I could display all my little panels, and smooshed some DOX ink onto it with a piece of acetate. This wonderful packaging came as an eco-friendly alternative to bubble-wrap with I no longer remember what, but I kept the entire sheet of it because I thought it would look great on cards. I'd like to try cutting a Christmas tree shape from it....Anyway, for this I just cut a curved strip and stuck it to my base. Added the Scripture verse, and then popped up my garden panels on foam.

That is a really cool piece of recycling. I love the idea of eco-friendly instead of styrofoam peanuts that last forever. This is beautiful! Adorable little panels, beautifully colored. I love the inky background. Glad to see your stickles because I just noticed on the challenge post it says no glitz and I added sequins. Hopefully, a little bit of sparkle isn't considered glitz!

Sabrina, I adore the 4 images you’ve colored in watercolor paper... something I have yet to try. The background packaging panel is very interesting and pairs well with your sweet images! Love your card!

This is so charming Sabrina. You sure know how to maximize these smaller stamped images to make them seem larger than life on this "garden fence" you created for them. I love your alcohol smooshed bg too! This is going straight into my favs! ~Karen.

I've gotten some of that packaging as well! Lovely use of it as a background on this card. When I first saw it, I thought it was basketry! I love all the elements here and the little bit of sparkle!

I think it is just so neat how we stampers look at something and say wow save for card making when someone else would just toss it---your card is so very neat with all that you did and added in making it---great card.
