Toni is our hostess this week for the WTUI challenge - you will be able to find it HERE. Thanks (if that's the right word) to being sick and off work for a couple of days I had time to make this card, which has been in my mind for a while, as well as the partridge one. I stamped the lemon in Antique Linen on watercolour paper and then coloured it with Inktense pencils. Added the sentiment, trimmed it down (and down, and down) and edged it with gold. For the base I laid a floral stencil over and used Twisted Citron DOX ink, then popped the main panel up on foam.
September 13, 2018 : WT705 ~ Toni Roald Dahl's birthday. He authored many stories, one of which is James & The Giant Peach. Let's use FRUIT!
LOTV partridge in pear tree stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black and coloured with Inktense pencils. Glossy Accents on the baubles, Crackle Accents on the pot, SN clear glitter on all the flowers, and lots of white gel pen detailing. Matted onto black, and then gold mirror card embossed with a Christmas Vine ef.

Oh, I saw this on my iPad, Sabrina, and meant to comment, but I like to do it on my laptop. Much easier! Anyway, I love this Scripture verse, and what a beautiful lemon that you've colored. It's lovely with the blue grounding, and I love how you've framed it. Stunning and powerful card with the Scripture! Hugs and love, precious friend! xoxo
