Here's my card for the Ways to Use It Challenge - Coffee or Tea - I drink both but more coffee than tea at the moment so I got out my ARTplorations Coffee Cup stencil. I used a technique from Tim Holtz Compendium of Curiosities Vol III page 48 called Layering Stencil Monoprint. I took the stencil, turned it over on my craft mat and rubbed my Ranger Distress Vintage Photo ink pad all over the stencil. Then I lightly spritzed it with water. I flipped it over onto a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of Rustic Cream card stock and quickly pressed over the stencil to be sure the watery ink touched all the surfaces. I removed the stencil and dried the panel with my heat tool. So it's like a negative of the stencil! To finish the look - I flicked some water on the panel with my fingers - the Distress inks are water base so they react with the water and leave nice water marks. Cool huh??!!
I sponged over the panel with Stormy Sky Distress Ink and then stamped this fun sentiment from the new Coffee Set from Waltzingmouse .

Wow! I can sure see why this is in the Favourites thread! It looks like a poster; the image is so eye catching. Wonderful that it is a stencil. Thanks for the detailed explanation. That sentiment is perfect! TFS
