Janette's sketch this week reminds me of the basic shape I use every time I doodle or sketch a flower....the oval. I started by cutting out the oval, and with a pencil drew another oval in the center. Then you keep going around making ovals to make the petals. You can make them wide or narrow at the tip for different looks. Then I take a black fine tip pen and go over the pencil marks and erase them, adding lines like doodling. Once you get the basic shape you can add double petals. To color the flower I used reinkers and a brush. It's very relaxing...TFL

What a bright, bold hand drawn flower, Linda. It looks great eith the grid bg. Easy for you, but mine would end up looking like a pile of flat tires. You did a tertific job doodling.

Oh, Linda, this is beautiful, and I love that you drew it! Amazing, but then again - you are a true artist! I love to doodle and will have to try this. But your colors are beautiful, and what a gorgeous card! Hugs!
