Brenda's challenge for VSN....treasured memory. This card show's one of my favorite memories of the love my Dad had for my Mom. Every year when spring was just starting to emerge he would go check his farm fields to see how much frost was still in the ground. He then would take a walk in the woods and pick a bouquet of ***** willows for my Mom. To her they were like a dozen of roses. They stayed on our dining room table until the tulips would be blossoming. As tough as my Dad was he had a heart of gold. I'm thinking of him more today, because tomorrow is the anniversary of his passing. Using my MISTI stamped the branch and sentiment. Painted the buds....added some sponging. tfl

Love this ***** willow card. Love the story about it. I feel your pain regarding the loss of your dad. My mom's passing one year anniversary will be soon too and it's still very hard. Hang on to those wonderful memories. BTW, this comment is to also thank you very much for the nice comment you just left on my pansie card. I appreciate that more than you know. And, I looked at your lovely gallery and your coloring is terrific also. I will go back to your gallery when I get a chance and look some more. Thanks again.
