Brenda's challenge for VSN....treasured memory. This card show's one of my favorite memories of the love my Dad had for my Mom. Every year when spring was just starting to emerge he would go check his farm fields to see how much frost was still in the ground. He then would take a walk in the woods and pick a bouquet of ***** willows for my Mom. To her they were like a dozen of roses. They stayed on our dining room table until the tulips would be blossoming. As tough as my Dad was he had a heart of gold. I'm thinking of him more today, because tomorrow is the anniversary of his passing. Using my MISTI stamped the branch and sentiment. Painted the buds....added some sponging. tfl

Linda, this is impressive! Your shading, painting, stamping and outlining the sentiment are all the best! I am glad your dad was so thoughtful to your mom! Good memories! tfs

Oh Linda, what a wonderful memory you shared... your dad and mom must have been very special. Cards made from the heart turn out the best. This has so much warmth from the gorgeous earth tones you used. The white of the flowers has a wonderful glow. What a beautiful tribute to your dad.
