I used masking to frame my focal image on this single layer card. I decided to pull out an old friend: "Gold Foil" to tie in with the title of my inspiration piece. First I stamped my image with a glue pad, then I applied the foil with a makeup brush (I just love the shinny effect), and shook off the excess to reveal a more random look (that's what I wanted). Finally, I did a little bit of sponging on the edges, removed the masking, and stamped my sentiment in Sepia, for a total work effort of 10 minutes!! I love how it turned out - yet I know that I would never have done this if it wasn't for the inspiration!

Oh I first thought this was embossed and then I read your description... I have this foil and need to get it out and play with it! Your scene is just beautiful and has inspired me!!! Thanks for a great site to inspire us as well!

So beautiful!! The golden wheat looks wonderful. For me, this brings back memories of my first visit to France. I love the positioning of the sentiment too.
