I used masking to frame my focal image on this single layer card. I decided to pull out an old friend: "Gold Foil" to tie in with the title of my inspiration piece. First I stamped my image with a glue pad, then I applied the foil with a makeup brush (I just love the shinny effect), and shook off the excess to reveal a more random look (that's what I wanted). Finally, I did a little bit of sponging on the edges, removed the masking, and stamped my sentiment in Sepia, for a total work effort of 10 minutes!! I love how it turned out - yet I know that I would never have done this if it wasn't for the inspiration!

Wow! This is amazing the way you heat embossed the wheat stalks - my goodness this is beautiful! Your bg sky and ground is perfect as well! What an awesome card!

Wonderful card, Audrie! I love the golden stocks of wheat and your sponging of the BG is perfect! Love today's site, by the way!!! The bears on a log tickled me, as I've driven by that area too many times to count!
